This year’s conference theme is “Making Mediation Mainstream.”

Confirmed speakers include:

Eve Pienaar: Overcoming Deadlock in Mediation: Tips and Techniques for the Mediator – A practical session from CMC Fellow and full-time commercial mediator drawing on over 20 years of experience. She will share insights and strategies to help mediators prevent deadlock and effectively intervene when parties reach an impasse.
Peter Marsden, CEO of Concordie International: Dealmaking vs Peacebuilding: The Transactional and the Sustainable – Nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, With a network of more than 650 local peacebuilders across Sudan, South Sudan, and Central Africa. He offers a perspective on mediation and dialogue that extends far beyond the negotiating table.
Julian Smith (Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE), former Secretary of State for Northern Ireland: Bringing extensive experience in negotiation, political mediation, and high-level dispute resolution.
